Cover Version Radio!

This is ‘Duck & Cover’, playing all the obscure, strange, weird and downright lousy cover versions that we can find. You’ll also find each show available to play on this page, whenever and however you want. No longer confined by that which we once called a schedule!

Each show is dedicated to playing a wonderful collection of all the obscure, strange, weird and downright lousy ‘Cover Versions’ that we can find. However, you won’t be alone on this trip into the musical hinterland, as your host on this journey will be Matt McAteer; who will attempt to explain and justify all of our musical choices. Hopefully, along the way hopefully discovering the exact elements needed to make the perfect ‘Cover Version’. Each hour long show can be streamed direct from this page or you can launch an external player which will detail individual track listings and links to purchase any of the music we play. All this is thanks to the good people at Mixcloud, which is a fully licensed PRS internet company. These radio shows used to be broadcast on Sheffield Live 93.2fm.

This week, we’ll build a snowman on the council estate, set fire to the genitals of Noddy Holder, explain how to hang yourself with fairylights and finally, exchange the show for a cheap pair of socks.
