About The Show:

Hello and welcome, we're the Cornucopia Radioshow , broadcast on Sheffieldlive on 92.3fm at 6pm on the second Monday of every month, and across the world on Sheffieldlive We're also podcasted to millions of iPods around the world. I also shout out the show in my sleep if you happen to be lying next to me....

The show is a mixture of original sketch comedy, new radio plays, monologues, streams of consciousness, interesting features, website reviews, special guests, live music and whatever else keeps us up late at night. We strongly believe that radio can be more than just somebody talking rubbish between the latest single from ‘snow patrol'

If you want to get involved with the broadcast, and become either a writer or performer, than get in touch with us @here@

Does mankind know too much? Do some questions really need to be answered?

I swore that when I started experimenting on the “Cornucopia Radio Show” I would not play God: I would keep to the natural order of how a radio show should be presented. But that was before episode 6.........

Listen in your car, listen in your back garden. Listen while enjoying the sunshine. Listen while having a drink. Listen via fm, listen via the internet. Listen, listen, listen..............

This week we have: ipods, zombies, fruit machines, church mice, talking radios, stalkers, ninjas and a bit too much Tom Baker!

Tell six people about the show, then get them to tell six people and eventually by law, Kevin Bacon will end up listening.

- Broadcast on Aprill 7th at 6pm /2008

So, welcome to the 'difficult' third album. We've got more of the usual stuff; just faster, better and stronger (and with new, ‘go faster' stripes on the side)

This month, our list of ingredients includes: psychotic induced fantasises, fascist fonts, drinking on stage, art in the art gallery just for art's sake, number countdowns, cruel shoes, classic episodes of ‘ready steady cook', lots of yodelling and we explain why we can't stop doing the 'agadoo'

Nobody would ever guess it was all just made up on the way to the studio...

- Broadcast on March 10th at 6pm /2008

If the first show didn't make it clear enough for you. Then this next show is going to shake you around until your eardrums explode.

We begin the show by declaring war on all other radio stations (we're nothing but ambitious) and soon after that, Henry J Malteser explains the amazing construction of Rome in just under 24 hours. We have a little too much eye-gouging than otherwise might be expected and in the premier of a new radio play, we explain what it means to really perform with “Gusto”. Once you're done with this, we'll hit you with a great deal of torture, philosophy, spam emails, Ronnie Corbett, flat pack instructions, and a new radio play which explores one of Sherlock Holmes more stranger adventures. Even if you've only found this webpage by accident, you've gotta click the link below and listen to this...

In the first ever “cornucopia radio show”, we pitched our idea to the station and ultimately showed the world our brand new poison!

Our resident history expert talked about the invention of the internet and latter discussed the day ‘man didn't land on the moon'. We discovered what it takes to box like a DJ and learnt far more than we ever needed to about 'Anthony Worrell Thompson'. Becky came into the studio to read a brand new piece of work, plus we delved into the shows extra DVD features and discovered what was being said on the director's commentary.

From this point onwards the show can only get better!
